McBride in Springfield, Massachusetts. In full: “Just a note to thank you for your kind thoughts on my victory on November 4. I am looking forward eagerly to my service in the United States Senate, and I hope that my actions in the next six years will reward those who placed their trust in me in this election.” Accompanied by the original mailing envelope with a PRINTED free frank signature in the upper left corner. Mailing folds, else fine condition.
